Legal Internship

The Legal Internship, available for all law students, provides hand-on legal training through its internship program. Interns complete writing and research assignments in addition to training in the courtroom. Students make significant contributions to the office and develop their legal training and education. Twelve-week sessions are offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Most divisions require at least one additional screening process, e.g., in-person or phone interview.

The internship is managed by the Communications Division of the County Attorney’s Office and will support the overall community outreach, social media, internal and external websites, and programming of the office. The internship position descriptions for the 2023 Communications & Public Affairs Internship may be found here. Sessions are offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
